Key Education Initiatives

  • Media Excellence Centre for underprivileged children, offering photography and videography training programs to build creative and career-oriented skills
  • Free computer education through COCO (Community Owned, Community Operated) Centres.
  • Financial support for school fees, books, uniforms, and counselling
  • Upgrading underserved schools and integrating them into Project Educate Centres (PECs) for sustainable learning

Our aim is to promote equal access to education, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and live with dignity—regardless of socio-economic background.

Our Journey:
From Crisis Relief to Community Empowerment.

AWDORG Foundation began its journey during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on immediate humanitarian relief to support vulnerable communities in times of crisis.

During this phase, our efforts included:

  • Distributing ration kits and essential food supplies
  • Assisting families with e-ration card generation
  • Feeding stray animals affected during lockdown
  • Providing milk for infants, face masks, hand sanitizers, and sanitary pads
  • Healthcare Support During the Pandemic

During the second phase of the COVID-19 crisis, AWDORG expanded its work in healthcare support by: :

  • Assisting workers and affected families
  • Collaborating with hospitals
  • Facilitating access to critical medical aid and healthcare services
  • Transition to Community Empowerment

As the situation evolved, our organisation shifted towards long-term recovery and community empowerment, including :

  • Supporting school admissions, educational materials, and fee assistance.
  • Resolving critical documentation and administrative challenges.
  • Providing skill development, job training, and employment linkage support

This transition marked the foundation for our ongoing initiatives focused on education, digital literacy, and sustainable community development.
