A Small Drink of Relief in the Scorching Heat

On 10 June 2026, as the temperature soared close to 45°C, AWDORG Foundation joined hands with IILM volunteers for a Rooh Afza distribution drive in Chanakyapuri.

Refreshing drinks were served to people out on the streets, including those travelling on foot, bicycles, bikes and autos. In such intense heat, even a simple glass of something cool can bring real comfort.

The activity was a small gesture, but it came from a place of care and concern for those facing the heat every day. It was a reminder that kindness often begins with noticing what someone around us might need.
