AWDorg Foundation’s EkChadarMeriBhi: Turning Old Sheets into Green Change

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, students from Kalkaji associated with AWDorg Foundation participated in a meaningful community initiative called EkChadarMeriBhi. In collaboration with RWA NEERWA, volunteers collected old bed sheets from households and repurposed them into durable, eco-friendly cloth bags.

More than 100 reusable bags were distributed free of cost to the local community, promoting sustainability and reducing single-use plastic. An AWDorg Foundation stall also showcased the initiative, spreading awareness about eco-friendly practices and encouraging people to adopt sustainable alternatives in their daily lives.
