Spreading Awareness for Free Photography & Videography Training at MCE | Oct 07, 2026

About this Activity

AWDORG Foundation organised a flyer distribution and awareness activity in Kalkaji Market to inform local youth and community members about the learning opportunities available through the Media Center of Excellence (MCE).

As part of the initiative, the Foundation provides free-of-cost photography and videography courses for students, giving young learners an opportunity to gain valuable creative and technical skills without any financial burden. The courses are designed to offer practical knowledge, hands-on experience and a basic technical understanding of photography and videography, while also helping students develop confidence, creativity and an interest in media-related career opportunities.

During the outreach activity, promotional flyers, course information and registration details were distributed among approximately 30 participants. The team interacted directly with local youth and explained the benefits of joining the free training programme, including exposure to camera handling, photography techniques, videography basics, lighting, framing, practical assignments and other media-related skills.

The activity also helped create awareness among students who may not otherwise have access to professional training or may be unaware of such opportunities available within their own community. By taking information directly to the local market and engaging with young people face-to-face, AWDORG Foundation aimed to make the programme more accessible and encourage interested students to take the first step towards learning a new skill.

The purpose of the activity was not only to promote the courses, but also to ensure that students from financially weaker and underserved backgrounds could access quality skill-based learning completely free of cost. Financial limitations often prevent talented young people from exploring creative fields, and this initiative seeks to reduce that barrier by providing them with structured training, practical exposure and a supportive learning environment.

Through the Media Center of Excellence, AWDORG Foundation continues to create opportunities for students to learn, practise and develop photography and videography skills under proper guidance. Students are encouraged to understand both the creative and technical aspects of visual media, participate in practical exercises and gradually build confidence in handling professional equipment and real-world assignments.

The flyer distribution activity served as an important community outreach effort, helping the Foundation connect with more young people and their families while spreading awareness about the availability of free professional training in photography and videography. Such activities help ensure that deserving students are not left behind simply because they lack information, resources or financial support.

Through initiatives like these, AWDORG Foundation remains committed to empowering youth through education, practical skills and meaningful exposure, enabling them to explore their potential and move towards better educational and career opportunities in photography, videography and digital media.
